​​West Virginia Senior Legal Aid, Inc. was originally formed on August 7, 1969 as North Central West Virginia Legal Aid Society providing free legal services to residents of West Virginia. Now with a focus on serving those in greatest economic need and greatest social need, including those who are disabled, those who are economically, racially, or socio-culturally disadvantaged, and those who live in the most rural areas of the state, West Virginia Senior Legal Aid, Inc. is dedicated to providing free civil (non-criminal) legal services to West Virginians age 60 and older who are in need of a champion for or a defender of their legal rights and interests, or who otherwise need legal advice or assistance. West Virginia Senior Legal Aid also strives to be a significant free public source of information pertaining to civil legal issues affecting seniors.
