WVSLA is a non-profit organization that provides free civil legal services to West Virginians 60 years of age and older, regardless of income level. A Senior Legal Hotline is available 24 hours a day at 1-800-229-5068. This manual contains general legal information and is intended to provide an overview of the law for senior citizens, not lawyers. Complex laws and regulations have been simplified.
